CAWSAND COTTAGESCottages with Style
If you don't know this delightful village, you have a treat in store.
The ancient twin seaside villages of Cawsand and Kingsand are situated in that part of Cornwall known as the Rame Peninsular or 'the Forgotten Corner" which also makes this area a tranquil spot. An area designated as of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there is plenty to do - Walking, Birdwatching, Sailing, Fishing, Kayaking, Rockpooling, Surfing, Golf and National Trust Houses and Gardens to visit nearby. With roots going back to the smuggling days of the eighteenth century and originally inhabited only by fishermen and their families, Cawsand and Kingsand are delightful villages which will give you a truly British holiday with reminders of days gone by - barbeques, beaches, sandcastles, crabbing or just messing about in boats. We have two cottages - Seacroft, a Grade II Listed Georgian house sleeping up to 8 people in four double/twin bedrooms and Howton Cottage, an ancient fisherman's cottage sleeping up to 5 people in 2 double bedrooms. Both houses sit directly on the South West Coast Path, 2 minutes walk to a beach and within 40 yards of each other on the same street, so perfect for a larger group (up to 13) to holiday together or to accommodate your Wedding guests close together. |
